Srinagar, Nov 10 (JKNS): The Kashmir Advocates Association, Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Srinagar (Regd.) has expressed deep shock and anguish over the barbaric twin car bomb blasts that struck the historic Red Fort area in Delhi this evening, claiming at least eight innocent lives and leaving more than twenty-five persons grievously injured.

The Association, in its statement as per news agency JKNS said it unequivocally condemns this cowardly and dastardly act of terrorism in the strongest possible terms. Targeting civilians, it said, is not only an assault on human life but a direct attack on the soul of India’s unity, secular ethos, and shared heritage.

The legal fraternity offered its heartfelt condolences to the people of Delhi, particularly the families who lost their loved ones in the heinous attack, and prayed for the swift and complete recovery of the injured. As advocates committed to the rule of law, the Association reaffirmed that no ideology of hate can justify violence against innocents and vowed to support every effort aimed at defeating the forces of terror.

The Association urged both the Central and Delhi Governments to ensure a rapid, transparent, and thorough investigation, exemplary punishment for the perpetrators and their networks, enhanced security at public spaces, and immediate medical as well as financial relief for the victims and their families. (JKNS)
