Srinagar, Nov 14 (JKNS): Security forces have pulled down the residence of Dr Umar Nabi, accused of driving the explosive-laden vehicle involved in the Red Fort blast, during a late-night action in Pulwama, officials said on Friday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the structure was demolished during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday as investigations into the Delhi blast continue to widen.
The explosion near the Red Fort on Monday night resulted in 13 fatalities and injured several others.
Investigators said Umar was driving the Hyundai i20 packed with explosives. His identity was confirmed after DNA samples lifted from the blast site matched those of his mother in Pulwama. (JKNS)
