Srinagar, Nov 15 (JKNS): Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday paid floral tribute to the police personnel, government officials and the civilian who lost their lives in the accidental blast near the Nowgam Police Station last night.
As per the news agency JKNS, the LG laid a wreath on the mortal remains of the deceased and expressed profound sorrow over the tragedy. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families and said the administration stands firmly with them in this hour of grief.
The Lieutenant Governor thereafter visited Ujala Cygnus Hospital and SMHS Hospital in Srinagar to meet those injured in the blast. He interacted with the medical teams, assessed the treatment being provided and enquired about the condition of each injured person.
The LG prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured and reiterated that the government will extend every possible assistance to the affected families. —(JKNS)
