Mehbooba trying to create atmosphere for another unrest in JK

Detain or put her behind the bars, Manzoor Bhat to HM

NC issuing hollow statements, only lust for power

Srinagar, Oct 29: BJP’s Kashmir Unit on Thursday slammed the PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufi’s for her illogical and antinational statements, she is trying to create atmosphere for unrest in Kashmir.

In a statement issued here, Party’s Kashmir Media Incharge and leader Manzoor Bhat termed Mehbooba’s statements as a well planned move to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We are seeing, the situation has remained peaceful over the past 1 and half year and her pro-Pakistan and anti-national statements can disturb the atmosphere here,” he said.

Bhat said she is not happy as peace has returned Kashmir after three decades of bloodshed and strikes. She has a lust for power and for that she can go to any extent, he said adding that she wants again the poor children should die on roads and streets.

He said if the government will ask her tomorrow to take control and that time she will forget everything including pro-Pakistan and anti-national statements. Nor she will think of the people of Kashmir, Bhat said.

As per Bhat, they appeal to higher-ups in the central government either to detain her or put her behind the bars as she has only one motive to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in Valley for unrest.

“It is a positive move from the people they are supporting such things now and nor youth has come forward in this regards,” Bhat said.

He said they appeal Home Minister of India to take Mehboob’s statements seriously and if she will remain continuously issuing pro-Pakistan and pro Hurriyat statements, it can lead to another wave of unrest in the region.

Bhat urged Mehbooba to shun cheap politics and accept what reality and don’t mislead people on the name of restoring Article 370 and other things.

While responding to the statement of Omar Abdullah as they are not interested in remaining in power and they are doing it for the people.

Bhat said they would have accepted these things, if National Conference (NC) leadership would have done it practically rather than issuing hollow statements.

“If they would pain of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, their three parliamentarians would have resigned from the membership of parliament. People are knowing the chameleon politics of NC who exploited J&K for the past seven decades.

“Where this pain goes, when Farooq Abdullah is attending the Parliament sessions in New Delhi and enjoying all the perks and protocol in Kashmir,” he said.

Bhat also said it is unfortunate that dirty politics is being played in the region by the leaders who looted the J&K and promoted their family raj politics.

He also extended the greetings of Eid-e-Milad (SAW) and urged people to pray fro peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
