Jammu, Nov 25 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, along with Transport Minister Satish Sharma, on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for an Automated Testing Station (ATS) at Nagrota, Jammu.
A sper news agency JKNS, The upcoming facility will be a modern, technology-driven vehicle fitness testing centre designed to operate with minimal human intervention.
Officials on occasion as per details, said the system will ensure accurate and reliable assessments of vehicle condition, thereby improving road safety and making the overall process simpler and more transparent for vehicle owners.
The initiative marks a notable step toward modernising transport infrastructure in the Union Territory and aligning with national standards for automated vehicle inspection. (JKNS)
