Srinagar, Nov 27 (JKNS): Cluster University of Srinagar on Wednesday observed National Constitution Day at its Gogji Bagh campus with a solemn ceremony dedicated to celebrating the vision, values, and constitutional ethos that shape India’s democracy.
As per news agency JKNS, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Mobin presided over the event, underscoring the Constitution as the nation’s guiding framework and a timeless source of democratic strength.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Registrar (Prof.) Dr. Wilayat Rizvi, Dean Academic Affairs (Prof.) Dr. Nazir Ahmed Simnani, andDean, School of Commerce & Management Studies, Prof. Dr. G.M. Lone, Controller of Examinations Dr Khurshid Ahmed Mir, concerned officers of the University besides all other officers were present during the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Registrar (Prof.) Dr. Wilayat Rizvi reflected on the visionary leadership of the framers of the Constitution. He highlighted the relevance of constitutional principles in contemporary society and encouraged students to cultivate a deeper understanding of their rights and duties as citizens.
He emphasized the responsibility of academic institutions in nurturing constitutional values among students and future professionals.
Faculty members, staff from various departments attended the event. The ceremony included the reading of the Preamble was read by Assistant Professor Dr Rutba Peerzada.
The event reaffirmed the University’s commitment to the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
