Srinagar, Nov 27 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of two JKAS officers, appointing Syed Qamar Sajad as the new Director Tourism, Kashmir while Lieutenant Governor ordered transfer of JKAS officer as ADC.

As per news agency JKNS, an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), with the approval of the J&K Government, stated that Mr. Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, against an available vacancy.

The government has also ordered the transfer of Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, who is presently serving as Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation. He has been posted as Director Tourism, Kashmir, and will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation till further orders.

In a separate Government Order No. 1554-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, IAS (AGMUT:2021), who was awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy. (JKNS)
