Anantnag, Dec 01 (JKNS): As part of an ongoing security review of railway tracks and key installations, security agencies on Monday carried out a comprehensive mock drill at Sadoora Railway Station to assess readiness and enhance coordination during emergencies.
In a statement issued here to news agency JKNS, In view of the ongoing security review of railway tracks and vital installations, a comprehensive mock drill was conducted at Sadoora Railway Station to assess and enhance the preparedness, coordination, and operational efficiency of security forces in responding to emergency situations.
The exercise was jointly carried out by District Police Anantnag, Government Railway Police (GRP), and the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
A series of emergency scenarios were simulated to evaluate the effectiveness of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to ensure swift and coordinated action among all participating agencies during real-time incidents.
District Police Anantnag, in coordination with GRP authorities, reiterated their commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for passengers and safeguarding critical railway infrastructure. (JKNS)
