Srinagar, Dec 5 (JKNS): Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport witnessed disruptions on Friday as several IndiGo flights were cancelled due to operational issues, an airport official said.
An official at the Srinagar Airport told news agency JKNS that IndiGo had 18 scheduled flights for the day, out of which 10 flights were reported cancelled, causing inconvenience to passengers.
The disruptions, according to preliminary inputs, are linked to IndiGo’s ongoing compliance measures under new DGCA safety directives, which have resulted in operational adjustments within the airline.
Additionally, crew availability constraints have contributed to delays and cancellations across multiple airports in the country this week.
Airport authorities have advised passengers to stay in contact with their respective airlines for updated schedules and further assistance. —(JKNS)
