Udhampur, Dec 15 (JKNS): A gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Village Soan, Majalta Udhampur district on Monday after troops initiated a search operation based on specific intelligence inputs, officials said.
In a post on X, IG Jammu as per news agency JKNS wrote, On a precise input from JKP, contact established with terrorists at Village Soan, Majalta Udhampur.
Joint team of SOG along with Army and CRPF on job, post reads.
Meanwhile, Additional forces have been rushed to the spot, and the encounter was underway at the time of filing this report. (JKNS)
