Srinagar: The annual Urs of revered Sufi saint Hazrat Abdur Rehman “Mian Shah Sahib” (RA) was observed with deep devotion and spiritual fervour at Rainawari in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, Ehsaas Foundation extended warm greetings to the people, especially Kashmir Muslims and Kashmir Pandits, highlighting the saint’s message of peace, love, tolerance, and communal harmony that continues to inspire generations.
Vice Chairman of Ehsaas Foundation, Burhan Nazir, said that the teachings of Mian Shah Sahib (RA) transcend religious boundaries and reflect Kashmir’s rich tradition of Sufism and coexistence. He emphasized that such occasions strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and unity among different communities in the Valley.
The Urs witnessed participation from devotees across communities, who offered prayers and paid homage to the Sufi saint, reaffirming Kashmir’s centuries-old legacy of spiritual harmony and mutual respect.
