Leopard Strays into CRPF Camp at Kapran, One Personnel Injured

Anantnag, Dec 24 (JKNS): A leopard entered a CRPF camp in the Kapran area of Anantnag district on Wednesday morning, triggering panic among the personnel and leaving one jawan injured, officials said.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that the incident took place during breakfast hours when CRPF personnel were present in the camp mess. The wild animal suddenly strayed into the premises and attacked the jawans.

One head constable, sustained injuries in the attack and was immediately shifted to a nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC) for treatment.

Officials said the injured jawan is stable and out of danger. —(JKNS)
