One Critically Injured in Road Accident Near Banihal Railway Bridge

Srinagar, Dec 25 (JKNS): One person was critically injured in a road accident that took place at the four-way junction near the Railway Bridge, Banihal, on National Highway-44 on Thursday.

As per details available with news agency JKNS, the accident occurred near the Banihal railway bridge, leaving a 35-year-old man seriously injured. He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital Banihal, from where doctors referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag due to the critical nature of his injuries.

The injured has been identified as a resident of Bijbihara area of Anantnag district.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (JKNS)
