Kulgam, Dec 30 (JKNS): The Town Hall, Devsar today resonated with inspiration and patriotic fervour as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized the Atal Sushasan Sammelan to pay rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, former Prime Minister of India and one of the nation’s most revered statesmen.
Addressing the gathering, BJP District President Kulgam, Farooq Ahmad Ashmuji, paid glowing tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji and said that despite a short tenure as Prime Minister, Atal ji laid a strong roadmap for India’s development. He said Atal ji firmly believed in peace, prosperity and national sovereignty, and was widely admired for his legacy of kindness, humility and inclusive leadership.
The programme was attended by several senior BJP leaders and office bearers, including senior leader Aabid Khan, Vice President Shabir Noorabadi, District General Secretary Mubarak Ahmad Khanday, Constituency Presidents from Kulgam and Devsar, Dr Hakeem Majid, Kisan Morcha District President, OBC President Firdous Ahmad, Kisan Morcha General Secretaries, District Secretary Mohd Younis Ganie, along with other district secretaries, senior leaders and party karyakartas.
