Fire Damages Three Residential Houses in Pandan Nowhatta Srinagar, Three Injured

Srinagar, Jan 8 (JKNS): At least three residential houses were damaged while three persons were injured after massive fire broke out in the Pandan Nowhatta area of Srinagar on Thursday evening, officials said.

According to the details shared by the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES), as per news agency JKNS, the State Fire Control Room received a fire call at around 4:38 pm. On initial assessment, three residential houses were found involved in the blaze.

Firefighting operations were immediately launched and were underway at the time of filing this report.

During the operation three persons were injured and were shifted to hospita, two among three injured were shifted to SMHS hospital for further treatment and there condition is stable, an official said.

Deputy Director Fire and Emergency Services Dr Mir Aqib Hussain, along with Mobilising Officer Aijaz Ahmad Shah and officers from the Divisional Fire Office (DFO) Headquarters, is present at the spot, supervising and coordinating the firefighting operation. (JKNS)
