“No power on Earth can stop an idea whose time has come” ~ Victor Hugo
The Abrahamic Old Testament begins with the story of how the Devil in his cunning intent to corrupt God’s finest creation, Man, entices Eve to eat the apple from the Forbidden Tree. Thus, resulting in Man getting banished from the Garden of Eden. In effect, Evil in its inherent need to corrupt and destruct adopts any means necessary to unleash the Hounds from Hell and let loose Chaos.
The Kashmiri society was misguided down the road of bloodbath with great promises, driven by a senile agenda targeted to fracture the Indian state. The evil designs were perpetrated with sole agenda of hurting the Indian Union, bloodied by the deaths of the young from within India’s own citizenry. Today, with such premise, unable to effectively match the army and its might, these shady perpetrators have resorted to killing civilians.
The Lost Decades
A dark mist hangs over the Valley a generation and more, born and bred in violence, have only witnessed chaos. In every nook and corner of cities and jungles, blood has been spilt. With immense evil afoot, the security forces have clamped with equal immense force and dismantled the terror structure over the course of the last three decades. The elements of evil are in disarray. Their masters are shell shocked dealing with international alienation, poverty at home and unstable governance. This current status has served as the reason for such cruel acts by absolute criminals
With a quantum leap in prosperity and progress all over, including in the regions of Jammu and Ladakh, the Kashmiri society strives for betterment with aspirations for advancement. This has resulted in the sudden increase in attacks on civilian population, particularly on people with no stake in this power play. From labourers to journalists, all sections of society has faced the brunt of such dastardly attempts, perpetuated to instil fear into the masses to keep them at bay from attaining normalcy.
Decadence of False Ideals
The intensive decadence of the ideological basis for the insurgency and active and efficient suppression of its over ground as well as underground elements by the security forces has pegged the final nail on its coffin.

With the armed insurgents actively eliminated and their lack of fighting capability, the drivers of the false narrative are slowly losing clout. In order to effectuate and maintain their choke over the public, they have resorted to fear mongering and have wreaked havoc upon the common masses.
Any Kashmiri who oppose to innumerable strikes and lockdowns is heckled, harassed, or killed by gunmen. This is a sign of desperation as the insurgents no longer hold sway among the masses, their violent designs no longer shrouded behind rose tinted narratives. The people of Kashmir are tired of this ecosystem of fear and violence. It has effectively resulted in their rejection of this cycle. They observe the world racing towards progress and prosperity and yet, Kashmir and its sons and daughters living in perpetual stasis. It is a people stuck in time and with only lost opportunities and regrets to live with.
Contemporary Agenda
With Kashmiri society eager to jump out of this fear psychosis and reject the archaic trigger mechanisms set in violence, there is an important task at hand for the civil government and the security forces deployed. With the numerous outreach programs and grass root initiatives in place, the security officials are well equipped but its civilian counterparts much act quickly to hold forth the Kashmiri hand seeking its way out of this spiral of destruction. There is an ardent need to promptly catch these perpetrators of violence and assure the public of the support at hand. These shameful acts of violence are the screams of the dying embers of an evil fire set about on this bountiful land and must be extinguished with war footing. The idea for peace and progress has seeped into the psyche of the common Kashmiri as he desperately wants to disassociate himself from this dance of doom.
Thus, the future holds promise of a new sun. A new day nourished in the promise of progress and peace. Wherein, apples are plentiful in the orchards and for everyone to share in its bounties.
