Srinagar, Jan 15 (JKNS): The body of a man was found under mysterious conditions in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Thursday, officials said.
Masroor Ahmad, son of Habibullah Mochi, was found under mysterious circumstances, following which police rushed to the spot and took the body into custody.
The body was subsequently shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities, while police initiated proceedings under relevant sections of law.
Officials said that further investigation is underway to ascertain the cause and circumstances of the death. (JKNS)
