Kupwara, Jan 15 (JKNS): Kundian witnessed a proud and emotional celebration of Indian Army Day at Boys High School Kundian, where the Indian Army, civil dignitaries, local residents, and school children came together to honour the courage, sacrifice, and selfless service of the Indian Army.

The event was marked by a spirit of unity and patriotism as students actively participated in the celebrations. A special cultural programme was organised in which school children presented colourful performances, including patriotic dances and renditions of popular army songs, showcasing their love and respect for the soldiers who protect the nation’s borders day and night.

The celebration reflected the deep bond between the Indian Army and the local civilian population. Locals expressed that every victory of the Indian Army is considered their own victory, and every sacrifice made by the soldiers fills their hearts with pride and gratitude.

They also highlighted that the Army has always stood by the people during difficult times, whether it is natural calamities, medical emergencies, infrastructure support, or youth engagement initiatives.

“The Indian Army does not just guard our borders; it safeguards our lives, hopes, and future,” said a local resident.

Civil society members and teachers also praised the Army’s continuous efforts in maintaining peace and harmony in the region and acknowledged their contribution to nation-building and community welfare.

The programme concluded with heartfelt applause and patriotic slogans, leaving everyone inspired and emotionally connected.

The celebration at Kundian Boys High School stood as a powerful reminder of civil military harmony and reaffirmed the unwavering faith of the people in the Indian Army. (JKNS)
