Baramulla, Jan 20 (JKNS): Security forces on Tuesday found a suspicious object lying along a roadside in the Tappar Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said.

A senior police official told news agency JKNS that the object was spotted during routine area domination and movement checks carried out by the forces.

He said that soon after the detection, the area was sealed off as a precautionary measure, and a Bomb Disposal Squad was pressed into service to examine and defuse the object, if required.

Further details are awaited. (JKNS)
