Kulgam, Jan 28 (JKNS): A 32-year-old man from Kulgam district died of suffocation after reportedly sleeping inside a car with the heater switched on, officials said on Wednesday.
An official told the news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Mashooq Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, a resident of Kulpora area of Kulgam.
The official said the incident occurred during the night when the man was sleeping inside the vehicle with the heater running, leading to suffocation.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the death. —(JKNS)
