Srinagar, Jan 29 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday strongly denounced the recent attacks on people from Jammu and Kashmir in various parts of the country, stating that such incidents are unacceptable and must stop immediately.

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS CM Omar said that the recent series of attacks, including those reported from Himachal Pradesh and the latest incident elsewhere, cannot be tolerated. He said it is contradictory to claim that Jammu and Kashmir is an inalienable part of India while people from Kashmir continue to live in fear for their lives in other states.

CM Omar Abdullah said that his government will step in wherever necessary and take all possible measures to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

He further expressed hope that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, would sensitise other states on the same lines to ensure the safety, dignity, and security of people from Jammu and Kashmir across the country. (JKNS)
