Jammu, Feb 3 (JKNS): Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, on Tuesday extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Barat.

He said that Shab-i-Barat holds great religious and spiritual significance for Muslims and is a night of prayers, forgiveness, and reflection.

On this sacred occasion, he urged people to pray for peace, prosperity and overall welfare of all.

The Deputy Chief Minister also observed that Jammu and Kashmir stands as a shining example of mutual understanding, harmony and spirit of celebrating festivals together.

He said that the people of the region have always upheld the values of unity and coexistence.

He also prayed for the well-being of all and urged people to strengthen communal harmony and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
