Karnah, Feb 5 (JKNS): The people of Karnah, in collaboration with the Shakti Vijay Brigade, today commemorated the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme, highlighting India’s rich democratic journey and constitutional values.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from civil society members, local residents, and representatives of the civil administration of Karnah Tehsil, reflecting strong public engagement and a vibrant democratic spirit.
Eminent speakers including Qazi Abdul Hamid Qurashi, Ishfaq Sayeed, Abdul Qayoom Mir, Aizaz Ahmad Khan, and Mr. Joginder Singh, along with school children and other distinguished dignitaries, addressed the gathering. The speakers shared insightful perspectives on India’s flourishing democracy, constitutional ethos, and the nation’s steady progress over the decades.
The programme was further enriched by patriotic and cultural performances presented by the Karnah Band and local singers, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebrations.
The event concluded with the felicitation of speakers and participants by civil dignitaries. Meritorious students of AGS Hajinar were also specially honoured for their outstanding performance in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
