District Level Exhibition and Project Competition Held at DIET Beerwah

Budgam, Feb 9 (JKNS): A District Level Exhibition and Project Competition was successfully organised under the INSPIRE Award MANAK Scheme 2024–25 at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Beerwah, a recognised Centre of Excellence.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young student innovators from different schools across Budgam district, who showcased a wide range of creative and scientific project models. The exhibition reflected students’ innovation, problem-solving abilities, and growing scientific temperament.

The programme was graced by Dev Raj, Principal DIET Beerwah Budgam, who presided over the function and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers in promoting innovation at the grassroots level. In his address, he stressed the need to nurture scientific thinking among students and encourage them to convert ideas into practical and useful solutions.

Faculty members of DIET Beerwah were also present on the occasion and highlighted the institute’s role in supporting educational innovation and talent development under various national schemes. The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Mirza Waseem Hussain, District Nodal Officer, INSPIRE MANAK.

Speaking on the occasion, a participating student said that the INSPIRE Award MANAK Scheme 2024–25 has provided a valuable platform for young minds to express their ideas, boost confidence, and develop innovative thinking.

The exhibition served as a vibrant platform for students to demonstrate originality and creativity, in line with the objectives of the INSPIRE Award MANAK Scheme to foster a culture of innovation among school students.

The programme concluded with appreciation for all participants and a renewed commitment to strengthening innovation-based learning in the district. (JKNS)
