Srinagar, Feb 10 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday stated that the government will commence the process of regularising daily wage workers in the Union Territory within this year.
Speaking during the budget debate in the J&K Assembly, CM Omar, as per news agency JKNS, said, “We will begin the regularisation of daily wagers this year to provide them job security and stability.”
On the issue of tourism, the Chief Minister noted, “Members have raised concerns about reopening closed tourist spots. I want to assure everyone that the matter has been taken up with the Government of India, and we expect all destinations to be operational in the coming months.” (JKNS)
