Srinagar, Feb 19 (JKNS): Prominent Sikh youth leader Amanjeet Singh extended warm greetings to the Muslim community worldwide on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, with a special appeal for peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, Singh emphasized the universal values of compassion, sacrifice, and self-reflection that define the holy month. Drawing parallels between Sikh and Islamic traditions, he highlighted the shared commitment to service and empathy for the marginalized.
“The month of Ramadan serves as a profound reminder of the virtues of discipline and devotion—principles that resonate deeply within the Sikh faith,” the statement read. “I stand in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe as they observe this sacred period.”
