Anantnag, Feb 26 (JKNS): In a joint anti-encroachment operation, the Revenue Department, RDD Larnoo and J&K Police Larnoo on Thursday retrieved 1.05 kanal of Kahcharai land at Qasba Nowbugh in tehsil Larnoo.
Officials told news agency JKNS, the land had been under encroachment and was cleared to pave the way for construction of a Panchayat Ghar and an Anganwadi Centre aimed at strengthening grassroots infrastructure in the area.
The drive was conducted smoothly in coordination with all concerned departments. The retrieved land was handed over on the spot to the intending department to enable immediate commencement of construction work. (JKNS)
