Shopian, Mar 3 (JKNS): Deputy Commissioner Shopian and Senior Superintendent of Police Shopian convinced a joint meeting to review security situation of the district.
As per news agency JKNS, A joint meeting was convened today by the District Commissioner Shopian and SSP Shopian with civil society members and religious leaders in view recent developments.
The primary objective of the meeting was to ensure the maintenance of peace and public order in the district. Participants deliberated on measures to maintain calm and prevent the spread of rumours.
The officers appealed to the public to uphold communal harmony and act responsibly during this sensitive time. Civil society representatives assured full cooperation with the administration and police.
