Srinagar, Mar 4 (JKNS): The Indian Army on Wednesday said that an infiltration attempt was foiled in the Bhimber Gali area along the Line of Control (LoC) during the early hours of March 4.
In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, White Knight Corps of Indian Army Corps said that acting on credible intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, movement of terrorists was detected in the general area of Bhimber Gali.
Alert troops swiftly engaged the infiltrators, successfully foiling the infiltration bid and preventing any breach of the LoC. The Army said the attempt was thwarted through coordinated ground action.
It added that troops have been reoriented to maintain strict domination of the area with integrated ground and aerial surveillance. A robust operational posture and heightened alert continue to remain in force across the sector.
“The Wall Stands Vigilant, Every Infiltration Bid Will Fail,” the Corps said, reiterating its commitment to safeguarding the borders. (JKNS)
