UPSC Declares CSE 2025 Final Results; 958 Candidates Recommended, 17 from J&K Make the List

Jammu, Mar 6 (JKNS): The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, recommending a total of 958 candidates for appointment to various prestigious civil services across the country.

The selection process included the written examination conducted in August 2025 followed by personality tests which concluded in February 2026, details available with news agency JKNS stated.

The recommended candidates will be appointed to services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Central Services.

Topper Anuj Agnihotri secured the first rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025. As per reports, he holds an MBBS degree from AIIMS Jodhpur.

Meanwhile, seventeen candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have successfully cleared the prestigious examination, bringing pride to the Union Territory.

As per details available with JKNS, Suvan Sharma from Jammu secured Rank 148, followed by Sugandha Gupta (207) and Towseef Ahmad Ganaie (254). Other successful candidates include Ritika Bhan (456), Sooyash Shivam (572), Muneeb Parrah (581), Ghulam Din (663) and Dwarka Gaadhi (721).

The list further includes Akash (747), Koh-e-Safa (763), Yasaar (811), Abhishek (820), Pankaj (856), Mohd Ajaz (869), Azhar (886), Sarfraz (936) and Irfan (957), officials said. (JKNS)
