Srinagar, Mar 13 (JKNS): Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited Basantgarh on Friday to review the ongoing security measures and counter-terrorist operations in the area.
According to a statement issued to news agency JKNS, the Army Commander was briefed on the functioning of the coordinated intelligence grid and enhanced security arrangements in the region. Discussions focused on reinforcing the security architecture in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
Lt Gen Sharma also interacted with troops deployed in the area, appreciating their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment towards maintaining peace and ensuring a terror-free environment in Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
