Srinagar, Mar 15 (JKNS): Fresh snowfall was recorded at Peer Ki Gali along the historic Mughal Road on Sunday, bringing down temperatures and covering the high-altitude pass with a fresh layer of snow.
Reports reaching news agency JKNS stated the snowfall occurred during the morning hours, turning the area white and affecting movement in the upper reaches along the route that connects Poonch with Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir.
Authorities are monitoring the situation, while travellers have been advised to exercise caution while commuting along the stretch due to slippery road conditions. (JKNS)
