Srinagar, Mar 16 (JKNS): Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Jammu and Kashmir, has extended heartfelt congratulations to renowned writer and poet of the Valley and former President of Maraz Adbi Sangam, Ali Shaida, on being conferred the Sahitya Akademi Best Award 2025 for his poetry collection “Najda Wanik Pout Aalov.”
The President of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Mohammad Amin Bhat, on behalf of other office bearers and members of the organisation, expressed warm congratulations and best wishes to Ali Shaida on receiving this prestigious literary honour.
In his statement, the President said that this achievement is not only a matter of pride for Ali Shaida but also for the literary circles of the Valley and for Kashmiri language and literature.
He added that Ali Shaida, through his creative talent and literary contributions, has given new dimensions to Kashmiri literature, and his works beautifully reflect the rich cultural and civilizational traditions of the Valley.
The statement further expressed hope that Ali Shaida will continue to serve literature with the same passion and dedication in the future and will remain a source of inspiration for the younger generation of writers and poets. Adbi Markaz Kamraz also wished him greater success in the years ahead.
Meanwhile, the Patron of the organisation, Dr. Rafiq Masoodi, also congratulated Ali Shaida and said that receiving the Sahitya Akademi Best Award 2025 is a great honour for Kashmiri language and literature, and his literary contributions will always be remembered. (JKNS)
