Indian Army Celebrates Eid with Fire-Affected Families in Tangdarl

Tangdar, Mar 19 (JKNS): On the auspicious occasion of Eid, the Indian Army organised a special outreach event for families affected by the recent fire incidents in Tangdar, Kupwara district.

The initiative aimed to extend support, compassion and festive cheer to those impacted by the tragedy.

The event witnessed the participation of approximately 10 media influencers from Karnah and around 40 children, who contributed to creating a warm and positive atmosphere. The celebration brought together members of the local community, fostering a spirit of unity, resilience and hope.

 

Families affected by the fire incident shared moments of joy and togetherness during the event. The presence of children and community representatives added vibrancy to the occasion, while also spreading a message of solidarity and collective strength.

 

The programme was held at Kundi Cultural Hall in Karnah, where senior journalist ishfaq sayeed, a prominent media figure from Karnah, also addressed the gathering.

 

He spoke in detail about the effective use of media and highlighted the evolving trends and responsibilities in the modern media landscape. Drawing from his experience, he provided valuable insights and guidance to young media professionals and participants.

 

The initiative reflected the Indian Army’s continued commitment to the welfare of local communities, especially during times of need.

 

The event emphasized empathy, mutual support and the enduring bond between the Army and the people of the region.

 

The participating families and media influencers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for organising the event and standing by them during a difficult period.
