Srinagar, Mar 20 (JKNS): Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, on Friday extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings, describing the festival as a “spiritual homecoming” that connects the discipline of the soul with the joy of celebration.
In her message, Andrabi said that the sighting of the Shawwal moon marks not just the end of Ramadan, but a continuation of the spiritual journey shaped by fasting, reflection and prayer.
She said the month-long عبادات (worship) leaves a lasting imprint, strengthening faith and instilling a sense of gratitude and inner peace.
Highlighting the essence of Eid, she said the occasion symbolizes compassion, unity and thankfulness, urging people to carry forward the values imbibed during Ramadan.
Andrabi prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and happiness for all of humanity, expressing hope that the spirit of Eid continues to guide people towards harmony and goodwill.
She also extended warm Eid greetings to the people, wishing them joy and blessings on the auspicious occasion. (JKNS)
