Srinagar, Mar 22 (JKNS): Police have acted on a video circulating on social media that purportedly shows an individual being harassed and wrongfully restrained at a public park in Langate area of Handwara.
A senior police officer told news agency JKNS, said that an FIR (No. 43/2026) has been registered at Police Station Handwara under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 270, 352, 129 and 3(5).
He said the persons involved have been identified and apprehended.
Further investigation into the incident is currently underway, he added. (JKNS)
