Teetwal Karnah(JKNS) : Vikramaditya Singh along with Chitrangada Raje Singh and members of the Dharmarth Trust visited the revered Sharda Temple at LoC Teetwal on the auspicious occasion of Navratri.

The royal couple offered special prayers conducted by the Save Sharda Committee Kashmir. A group of Brahmins from Karnataka performed hawan and puja, adding spiritual fervour to the occasion.

They were warmly received at Swami Nand Lal Ghat by Ravinder Pandita, along with members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, Sikhs of Tangdhar, and local residents. Following the aarti on the banks of the Kishanganga River, the dignitaries proceeded to the temple, where they were received by Ajaz Khan and fellow pilgrims.

During the visit, the Yuvraj—son of former Sadr-e-Riyasat Karan Singh—also participated in a bhandara organised by the Save Sharda Committee. He visited the Yatri Niwas and expressed happiness over the newly constructed temple infrastructure.

The royal couple also paid obeisance at the Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Gurudwara within the complex.

Describing the occasion as historic, Ravinder Pandita stated that it marked the first visit of members of the erstwhile Maharaja dynasty to the Sharda Temple in Teetwal since the Partition of India.(JKNS)
