Srinagar, Mar 26 (JKNS): Ram Navami was celebrated on Thursday at Raghunath Mandir, Srinagar, after a historic gap of 36 years, marking an emotional and significant moment for the Kashmiri Pandit community.

As per news agency JKNS, A large number of devotees participated with great shradha and enthusiasm.

Historically, this festival was among the biggest celebrations in Srinagar prior to the 1990s, reflecting the rich cultural and spiritual legacy of Kashmir.

The revival of this event has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Raghunath Mandir Committee (Regd) under the leadership of President Sh. Bharat Raina and his team, who have been working tirelessly over the past few years to restore the temple.

The Committee expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Jammu & Kashmir Administration, the Kashmiri Pandit community, the local Muslim community, and the media for their support in making this historic celebration possible.

This occasion stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and revival, with a collective prayer for peace, love, and harmony in the Valley. (JKNS)
