Shopian, Apr 1 (JKNS): The District Shopian Yogasana Championship, came to a successful close with over 100 participants showcasing their skills and talents.
The event was organised by the District Shopian Yogasana Association under the authority of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Khanday, Incharge Batpora Stadium Shopian, congratulated the participants, District Shopian Yogasana Association, J&K Sports Council and organisers, including Sehran Nazir, Arham Parry, I Gazi Mustaq, Umar Farooq, and Faiqa Wani, for their efforts in making the event a grand success.
Medals were distributed to the winners, recognising their hard work and dedication to the sport. The event provided a platform for yoga enthusiasts to come together, promote physical and mental well-being, and showcase their talents.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to the J&K Sports Council for their sponsorship and support, which played a significant role in making the championship a success.
