Srinagar, Apr 10 (JKNS): A fire incident at Jamia Ashraf-ul-Uloom, Hyderpora area of Srinagar on Friday left two civilians and one fireman injured, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot soon after the incident was reported and firefighting operations were launched to bring the flames under control.
He said the fire has been contained after sustained efforts by the Fire & Emergency Services personnel.
During the operation, one fireman sustained injuries while dousing the flames, while two civilians also suffered injuries and were shifted for treatment. Their condition is being monitored.
Officials said the cause of the fire is not known at this stage, and further details regarding damage are being ascertained. (JKNS)
