Altaf Bukhari Expresses Relief Over No Loss of Life in Hyderpora Fire Incident

Srinagar, Apr 10 (JKNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Friday expressed relief that no casualties were reported in the fire incident at Jamia Arabia Ashraful Uloom in Hyderpora area of Srinagar, while terming the damage caused by the blaze as unfortunate and distressing.

In a statement issued here as per news agency JKNS,, Bukhari said the timely response of police, Fire and Emergency Services, along with the active support of the local community, especially youth, played a vital role in containing the fire.

He said the swift action and strong sense of responsibility displayed by all those involved helped prevent the situation from turning into a major tragedy.

Bukhari also called for due appreciation and recognition of the efforts and bravery shown by the responders during the incident. (JKNS)
