Budgam, Apr 11 (JKNS): The Kashmir Schools Federation (KSF) has expressed serious concern over the rising number of complaints from parents regarding the high fees being charged by private schools across the Kashmir Valley.
Secretary of KSF, Elahi Faizan, stated that a large number of families are facing financial strain due to the continuous increase in school fees.
He emphasized that parents have been raising valid concerns about the lack of transparency and fairness in the fee structures adopted by several private educational institutions.
“Education should not become a burden for families. There is a pressing need to ensure that fee structures are reasonable, justified, and transparent,” he said.
The Federation has urged the concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the issue and ensure strict implementation of rules and regulations so that parents are not subjected to unnecessary financial pressure.
Reaffirming its commitment, the Kashmir Schools Federation stated that it stands firmly with the parents and will continue to raise the issue until a fair and balanced solution is achieved. (JKNS)
