Srinagar: The state spokesperson of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Altaf Thakur on Tuesday demanded early completion of investigation, underway to probe 25000 Cr Roshni land scam.
Asking for stern punishment to those involved in the scam,he said that Abdullah’s and Mufti’s have done nothing for people.
” They grabbed the resources of the Union Territory (UT). They made money for themselves and for their kith and kins.Their involvement in the Roshni scam is yet another proof of their malpractices,”Thakur added
Thakur asked Lieutenant Governor administration to ensure stern punishment to those involved in the scam that caused a loss of 25000 Cr to the state exchequer.
”The act was made with an aim to grant ownership rights to land encroachers,just to raise money for power projects.The act was mis used.Those who deserved ownership rights were left out.The ownership rights were granted to leaders of political parties like NC , PDP and Congress.Even ownership rights were given to hoteliers and businessmen ,”he added.
