Youth Dies After Slipping in Kokernag Forest

Anantnag, Apr 13 (JKNS): A pall of gloom descended on Halpora village in Kokernag after a youth lost his life in a tragic accident on Sunday.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS, The deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Majeed Dar, a resident of Halpora, Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The youth had gone to a nearby forest area when he accidentally slipped and sustained critical injuries. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings are underway. — (JKNS)
