17 persons discharged, 413 active cases in JK
Srinagar, May 05: Fifteen more people tested positive for Covid-19 infection in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, taking the number of infected to 741As per the officials, at 09 tested positive at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS, Srinagar, and five others at COVID-19 testing lab at Chest Disease Hospital, Dalgate.Among the fresh cases include 06 from Shopian, four from Srinagar, 2 from Bandipora and one each from Anantnag and Baramulla. and 1 from Jammu district. Till date 80206persons have been put under the observation which includes 13688 in home quarantine, 213 in hospital quarantine, 413 in hospital isolation, and 7274 under home surveillance.It said 7274 persons have completed their surveillance period. While 17 persons were discharged from Kashmir hospitals.
J&K has so far witnessed eight casualties due to coronavirus of which seven are from Kashmir and one from Jammu. (JKNS)
