Srinagar, May 5: Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday appointed former IAS officer B R Sharma as Chairman Public Service Commission.The order was issued on Tuesday by Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone (IAS) Secretary to the government to appoint the B R Sharma as PSC chairman on the directions of Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu.As per the order, “the Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint B R Sharma (IAS) (Retired), as chairman, Public Service Commission for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.He shall hold the position of the Chairman, Public Service Commission, till he attains the age of sixty-two years,” reads the order.
