Birds of Kashmir today participated in an event organized by Forest department in collaboration with School for Rural Development & Environment (SRDE) at Naranag Kangan to celebrate World Environment Day and pledged its unconditional support to conserve biodiversity of the area.
Celebrated every year on June 5, World Environment Day, is the United Nation’s (UN) primary channel that encourages worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment and this year’s theme was #celebrate_biodiversity.
With a Million Species facing Extinction, essential it is to maintain an Equilibrium between all forms of Life which Nature has already Created, but due to human Intervention it has changed and hence affected our Human life dramatically. The Miseries we inflicted upon Nature has been bounced back Unequivocally with enormous magnitude. Hence our Endeavours now should be to live in Harmony with Nature.
During this program, mass awareness and cleanliness drive were also taken into account and everyone present there took active part in the said event.
