Srinagar: Door-to-door searches were conducted in a Sonwar locality here in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Local sources told news agency KNT that combined forces cordoned off Palpora area of Sonwar and conducted search operation.
Locals said that dozens of houses were searched and identity cards of locals were thoroughly checked.
A police official said that it is a routine dominance exercise.
