Alleged Chanapora Murder Case:
JK Bank suspends accused employee

Srinagar, Aug 8: Jammu Kashmir Bank has suspended the alleged murder accused in Chanapora incident. An alleged murder occurred in Chanapora locality of Srinagar city. Police have already arrested the accused who is a Jammu Kashmir Bank employee.

The family of the 65 year old victim had protested in Press Enclave Srinagar demanding registration of FIR against the accused namely Waseem Ahmed alias Jimmy. The family is alleging that Jimmy assaulted the elderly man over a petty matter that resulted in the death of the man.

Police have arrested the accused and waiting for post mortem report.

Public Relations Officer of JK Bank confirmed to KNT that the accused bank employee has been suspended. He said the employee will face termination if he turns guilty. (KNT)
