Forces have launched a cordon and search operation in Pastuna Tral of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to the news agency that SOG Tral, CRPF and the Army’s 42RR jointly cordoned off a Pastuna area of Tral after receiving intelligence about the presence of militants. All the entry and exit routes have been sealed.
Meanwhile home searches have been launched. According to sources, guards have been posted at all entrances and exits in the area and house to house search operations continued while no one was allowed to leave the area. Heavy contingents of forces were deployed on internal and external routes.
On this occasion, house to house searches were carried out and people passing by were stopped at several places and they were lined up and the parade for their identity was done. However, no arrest was made.
On the other hand CASO was going in Lawaypora area of Srinagar city till the last reports came in.
